April 2025, Kupang Municipality experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 0.91 percent

Abstract

In April 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kupang City of 0.91 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.15.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in 7 expenditure group indices, namely: personal care and other services by 13.63 percent; provision of food and beverages/restaurants by 2.93 percent; food, beverages and tobacco by 0.91 percent; health by 0.58 percent; recreation, sports and culture by 0.34 percent; clothing and footwear by 0.22 percent; and housing, water, electricity and household fuel by 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, there were 3 expenditure groups that experienced deflation, namely: transportation by 2.27 percent; information, communication and financial services by 1.21 percent; and household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.07 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Kupang City in April 2025 were 0.11 percent and 1.25 percent respectively.
