Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in July 2024 was 6.0 million, an increase of 11.04 percent compared to June 2024. The number of international air transport passengers increased by 1.36 percent to 1.6 million. The freight transported by domestic air transport increased by 8.81 percent to 53.1 thousand tons. From January to July 2024, the number of domestic air transport passengers was 36.5 million, increasing by 0.84 percent. The number of international air transport passengers was 10.5 million, which increased by 24.75 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Moreover, freight increased by 6.62 percent to 365.6 thousand tons.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in July 2024 was 2.6 million, increasing by 13.05 percent compared to June 2024. The freight transported by domestic sea transport increased by 3.58 percent, turning 31.2 million tons. From January to July 2024, the number of domestic sea transport passengers reached 15.1 million and increased by 24.92 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, freight decreased by 0.38 percent, reaching 210.8 million tons.
The number of railway passengers departing in July 2024 was 37.9 million people, which increased by 8.21 percent compared to June 2024. Furthermore, freight transported by train increased by 3.61 percent to 6.5 million tons. The number of passengers reached 241.7 million from January to July 2024 and increased by 15.19 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Moreover, the cumulative freight transported by train rose 8.55 percent to 41.6 million tons.
