National Farmers’ Terms of Trade (FTT) November 2024 was 121.29 or increased 0.49 percent. Dried harvested grain (GKP) price at the farmer level decreased by 1.86percent and the price of premium quality rice.

Abstract

FTT is the ratio of the index of prices received by farmers (It) and the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is an indicator to measure the farmers’ purchasing power parity in rural areas. FTT shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumption and production costs.
In November 2024, national FTT was 121.29 or increased by 0.49 percent compared with that in October 2024. The increase in FTT was due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It) at 0.86 percent which was higher than the increase in the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) at 0.37 percent.
In November 2024, Bengkulu Province had the highest increase in FTT at 4.79 percent. On the other hand, Gorontalo Province experienced the highest decrease in FTT at 2.64 percent.
The price index of household consumption (IKRT) in November 2024 increased by 0.52 percent in Indonesia, which was mainly caused by the increase in food, beverage, and tobacco groups.
Nationally, Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) was 123.77 in November 2024 or increased by 0.80 percent compared with October 2024.

National Farmers’ Terms of Trade (FTT) December 2024 was 122.78 or up 1.23 percent. Dried harvested grain (GKP) price at the farmer level increased by 0.87 percent and the price of premium quality rice at huller level increased by 1.24 percent.

National Farmers’ Terms of Trade August 2024 was 119.85 or increased 0.20 percent. Dried harvested grain price at the farmer level decreased by 1.15 percent & the price of premium quality rice at 1.19 percent.

National Farmers’ Terms of Trade (FTT) February 2025 was 123.45 or decreased 0.18 percent and the price of premium quality rice at the huller level decreased by 0.25 percent.

In October 2024, the National Wholesale Price Index (WPI) changed by 1.95 percent year-on-year.
