Nusa Tenggara Timur's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in August 2024 was 100.96 or decreased by 0.19 per cent when compared to November 2024.

Abstract

The December 2024 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is based on the calculation of NTP with the base year 2018 (2018=100). This NTP calculation includes 5 subsectors, namely rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries subsectors.
In December 2024, East Nusa Tenggara's NTP was 100.96 with each subsector's NTP recorded at 99.35 for the rice and secondary crop subsector (NTP-P), 98.49 for the horticulture subsector (NTP-H); 102.95 for the smallholder plantation crop subsector (NTP-TPR); 108.14 for the livestock subsector (NTP-Pt) and 92.79 for the fisheries subsector (NTP-Pi).
There was a decrease of 0.19 percent in December 2024 when compared to the November 2024 NTP. The decline in the price index was due to the slower development of the receiving price index compared to the paying price. This decline occurred in the People's Plantation Crops and Livestock Subsectors.
In rural areas there was inflation of 0.27 percent. This inflation mainly occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco subgroup.
