March 2025, Kupang Municipality experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1.19 percent

Abstract

In March 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kupang Municipality of 1.19 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.03.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in 6 expenditure indices, namely: personal care and other services by 12.00 percent; provision of food and beverages/restaurants by 2.82 percent; food, beverages and tobacco by 1.16 percent; clothing and footwear by 0.45 percent; health by 0.45 percent; and recreation, sports, and culture by 0.29 percent. Meanwhile, there were 4 expenditures that experienced deflation, namely: information, communication, and financial services by 0.76 percent; transportation by 0.53 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.15 percent; and housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by 0.03.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Kupang Municipality in March 2025 were 1.34 percent and 1.13 percent respectively.
