February 2025, East Nusa Tenggara Province experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 0.47 percent. The highest y-on-y inflation occurred in Maumere at 1.68 percent.

Abstract

In February 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province of 0.47 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.50. The highest inflation occurred in Maumere by 1.68 percent with a CPI of 108.35 and the lowest inflation occurred in Kupang City by 0.01 percent with a CPI of 105.61.
Y-on-y inflation in February 2025 occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in 8 of the 11 expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.19 per cent; clothing and footwear group by 0.50 per cent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.28 per cent; health group by 0.64 per cent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.26 per cent; education group by 1.46 per cent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 2.18 per cent; and personal care and other services group by 7.53 per cent. Meanwhile, groups that experienced a decrease in prices, namely: transportation group by 0.05 per cent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.48 per cent in February 2025.
East Nusa Tenggara Province experienced month to month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.37 per cent in February 2025. And there was also year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation of 0.09 per cent in February 2025.

January 2025, in East Nusa Tenggara Province there was Year on Year (y-on-y) Deflation of 0.06 percent. The highest y-on-y inflation occurred in Waingapu at 1.35 percent

March 2025, Kupang Municipality experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1.19 percent

The national year-on-year (y-on-y) headline inflation in December 2024was 1.57 percent.

The year-on-year (y-on-y) national headline inflation in November 2024 was 1.55 percent. The highest inflation by province was in Papua Tengah Province at 4.35 percent.
