December 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province will be 1.19 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Maumere at 2.65 percent

Abstract

In December 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province of 1.19 per cent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.40. The highest inflation occurred in Maumere by 2.65 per cent with a CPI of 109.21 and the highest deflation occurred in South Central Timor District by 0.24 per cent with a CPI of 107.05.
Y-on-y inflation in December 2024 occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 9 of the 11 expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 1.90 per cent; clothing and footwear group by 0.54 per cent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.01 per cent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.38 per cent; health group by 0.04 per cent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.36 per cent; education group by 1.07 per cent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 1.52 per cent; and personal care and other services group by 6.59 per cent. While the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: the transportation group by 0.13 per cent; and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.51 per cent in December 2024.
There was month to month (m-to-m) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province for the period December 2024 of 0.82 per cent. And there was also year to date (y-to-d) inflation in East Nusa Tenggara Province in this period of 1.19 per cent.

January 2025, in East Nusa Tenggara Province there was Year on Year (y-on-y) Deflation of 0.06 percent. The highest y-on-y inflation occurred in Waingapu at 1.35 percent

Februari 2024 inflasi Year on Year (y-on-y) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur sebesar 3,01 persen. Inflasi tertinggi terjadi di Maumere sebesar 3,46 persen.
