Abstract

  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in January
    2025 was 5.1 million, a decrease of 10.18 percent compared to December
    2024. On the contrary, the number of international air transport passengers
    increased by 0.66 percent to 1.7 million. Meanwhile, the freight transported
    by domestic air transport decreased by 4.78 percent to 57.8 thousand tons.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in January 2025
    was 2.5 million, increasing by 4.48 percent compared to December 2024.
    Meanwhile, the freight transported by domestic sea transport decreased by
    0.20 percent, turning 38.9 million tons.
  • The number of railway passengers departing in January 2025 was 43.4 million,
    which decreased by 5.48 percent compared to December 2024. Similar to
    the number of passengers, freight transported by train decreased by 9.48
    percent to 5.8 million tons.
